Focus has supplied the theme tune and incidental music for brand new ITV show 'Celebrity Pressure' cooker. The show, which airs at 3pm each week day, is presented by Lorraine Kelly. Celebrities face trying to cook in the style of a professional chef - right under his nose! The theme tune is our track 'Frock Stars' from FASHION PROMOS Check out the opening credits. |

Our music clearance team have just placed a great track by Northern Ireland's 2 Door Cinema Club in the latest Vodafone Broadband TV ad. 'Something Good Can Work' certainly does work in the film. The version in the ad is the remix by The Twelves, master remixers from Brazil. We worked with ad agency DDFH&B to find and suggest music options for the campaign, then we handled the rights negotiation with the publishers and record labels. We're on the film trailer for brand new Brit flick 'Made in Dagenham' starring Sally Hawkins, Rosamund Pike and Bob Hoskins. The trailer opens with our track 'Funny Bone' from MAD MIX, our CD of quirky, left-field dance tracks. The film follows the fortunes of the 1968 strike by female workers at the Ford car plant in East London. Watch the trailer. |

We've got a track in another Hollywood film trailer. This time it's forthcoming period piece 'The Last Station' starring James McAvoy, Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer. It tells the story of the last days of Russian writer Leo Tolstoy and is tipped for Oscar nominations. Helen Jane Long's beautiful string score is used in the brand newtrailer. Our music clearance department has just handled the sourcing and clearance neqotiations for Vodafone's new power to you campaign. Watch the ad here. The ad features the Plasticines, an all-girl French group, and uses their song 'Barcelona' from their 2009 album 'About Love'. Focus works with ad agencies and producers to source music and clear the often complex publising and recording rights for them. We work on a 'no win', 'no fee' basis. Five producer Ben Knapp and his brilliant promo has since gone on to win GOLD no less, at last weekend’s prestigious PROMAX awards for TV creatives.
